DNA based computers, Researchers have been working on building computers from DNA which will perform simple tasks as normal computers. The idea of using DNA was first researched in 1994 to eliminate some limitations related to normal computers.
Advantages of DNA computers
1) DNA Computers will be capable of storing billions of time more data than normal Computers. Scientists these days are using genetic material DNA of humans to create nanocomputers that might eliminate normal or personal computer in the next 10 years.
2) DNA is very similar to a computer hard drive which stores permanent information about your genes. DNA Computers can solve complex mathematical problems which a normal computer cannot.
Modern Scientists are using DNA gates to develop DNA Computers, DNA computers will replace normal computers soon these computers will be able to detect cancer accurately 7, within 10 years DNA based computers could be tested for medical applications.
The researchers say that these computers will be smaller than normal computers with a large amount of data and less power consuming.
DNAzymes Based Gates
However, if only specific pairs of bases can be formed, it follows that if the sequence of bases on one chain is given, then the sequence on the other chain is automatically determined.
